What if my birthday occurs during the application process?
Insurance companies use your nearest age (within 6 months) to determine your premiums.
What happens after I submit my application?
Underwriters review your application and arrive at one of the following decisions: approve your application, request more information, or deny your application. Our advisors will stay in touch with you throughout the process and will keep you updated on the progress of your application.
Can I change my coverage amount or term length once I apply?
Yes, you can adjust your coverage amount and term length after you apply. Get in touch with an advisor assigned to you and they can help you with all the required changes that you wish to make.
I was asked for follow-up information, what does this mean?
Sometimes the Underwriters may have a few additional questions or need a little clarification. Our advisors will get in touch with you for more information.
Will applying hurt my credit score?
No, it will not affect your credit score. Rather, a life insurance application has nothing to do with your credit score check.
How long does it take to get a decision on my application?
Some applicants get approved immediately. In most cases, you can get an answer within 24-48 hours. In some cases, it can take a couple of weeks. No matter how long the process takes, our advisors will be there every step of the way.
When does my life insurance coverage begin?
